ATTENTION WATCHMEN:
Anyone wondering why the last (anticipated/Sept. 13th) Shemitah collapse was a non-event may be interested in the following math: Shemitah collapse #1: September 17, 2001 (Elul 29). Shemitah collapse #2: September 29, 2008 (Elul 29). Note: there are exactly 2,570 days separating these two collapses. What happens if we add 2,570 days to the most recent, 2008, collapse? We arrive at October 13th, 2015. What is the significance of October 13th, 2015? Author of Ancient Messianic Festivals, Ken Johnson, writes: “The easiest way to verify when the REAL festivals and future prophecies will occur is to memorize the dates of the spring and fall equinoxes…. The first new moon following the fall equinox will be… [the Feast of Trumpets].” (p. 12) The first new moon following the fall equinox in 2015 is October 13th-14th, the date(s) that, according to Johnson, would represent the “real” Feast of Trumpets. IT GETS EVEN MORE INTERESTING. The Book of Daniel states: “From the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven sevens…” (Daniel 9:25 NASB). What happens if we subtract Daniel’s “seven sevens” (equivalent to 17,640 days) from the October 13th-14th date? We arrive at June 27th-28th, 1967, the date the Israeli government issued an official “decree” recognizing Jerusalem as the restored capital of Israel. http:// http:// Summary/bottom line: There are exactly “sevens sevens” between the (June 27th-28th 1967) decree recognizing Jerusalem’s restoration and what some would consider the “real” Feast of Trumpets in 2015 (October 13th-14th). Additionally, there are exactly 2,570 days separating the October 13th-14th (Feast of Trumpets) date from the previous shemitah-collapse in 2008 and, likewise, 2,570 days separating the 2008 collapse from the 2001 collapse. if you use this theory and apply it to sept 2001 collapse it won't work
as sept 17/18 is BEFORE fall equinox so by your own definition, you
would need to move Elul 29 of 2001 one month out to October 2001 (no
collapse then)

was JUST watching the premiere of an HBO movie series called "The
Leftovers" in which the premise of the show is based on the life events
of those who remained on earth after the rapture has taken place. The

underpin your faith when you were on the mountain top. Now that you're
in a low valley, you can go back to the verses that built your faith.
Stay faithful, and stay in the word. It sustains me in my lows! Like's

Feast of Trumpets is established in Leviticus 23:23-25 and mentioned
again in Numbers 29:1, but in both places God has commanded a specific
date on the Hebrew calendar for the feast and it has nothing to do with
when spring begins or when the Moon is spotted. Am I missing something?

At least counting by days eliminates the possible errors from
switching between Gregorian and Jewish calendars! Also, given the moral
degradation of this nation and the overdue judgment, I'm looking at
that as a possible time for an economic or other disaster, not
