BREAKING - LIVE CAM 2-28-17 Mount Etna BLOWING its top!

The Second Comming

" I know eternity will be one long Sabbath day and i know that the Bible says people will worship the King from Sabbath to Sabbath. I also know that God made that day, sanctified and wants it to be kept holy...as well as we still have 7 days in week as long as the world keeps turning.(actually earth is Stationary, I've discovered)
I'm like you Sister...the rapture will be in the twinkling of an eye...not 40 days. Too many people (myself included) have taken that "as in the days of Noah" out of context. I just recently noticed that, that whole passage is not about the rapture, but is referring to the second coming.
Matt.24:27-28 says the carcasses will be where the eagles gather (a reference to Rev.19:17 Armageddon destruction). "SO SHALL THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE."
Matt 24:36-37 " But of that day and hour...37) But as the days of Noah were, SO ALSO SHALL THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE."
Matt.24:36-39 ".....39) and did not know until the flood (destruction) came and took them all away, SO SHALL THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE."
The day n hour no man knows in this context is the second coming...not the rapture. And the next verses are not the rapture either...but the sheep n goat judgment...tares being gathered first.
Matt.24:40 " THEN (after) Then two men shall be in the field ; one will be taken (tare/goat) the other (wheat/sheep) left behind..."
...vs.43) "...if the master of the house knew what hour the THIEF would come..." This scripture is also referring to the 2nd coming and cross references to Rev.16:15 " Behold, I am coming as a THIEF..." This is AFTER the 6th bowl of WRATH is poured out that this warning comes.
1Thess.5:2 and 2 Peter 3:10...both state "the Day of the Lord" shall come like " A THIEF IN THE NIGHT "...and then go on to describe destruction aka 2nd coming. Clearly not the rapture.
So why have these scriptures been taught to us a representing the rapture...when they clearly show the 2nd coming." by Shane

Overdose Outpaces Suicide and Car Accidents

Fatal drug overdoses more than doubled since 1999, CDC finds

John Moore/Getty Images

WatchNaloxone: The basics
CDC researchers examined data from the National Vital Statics System to see the effects of drug trends across the nation from 1999 to 2015.
Rates of fatal drug overdoses have dramatically increased since 1999, rising from 6.1 deaths per 100,000 people to 16.3 deaths per 100,000 in 2015, according to the CDC report.
That number is higher than the rate of death for suicides in the U.S., 13.4 deaths per 100,000, or the rate of death from car accidents, 11.1 deaths per 100,000 residents.
The overall number of deaths due to opioid overdoses quadrupled during the same time period, according to figures previously published by the CDC. Opioids killed more than 33,000 people in 2015, more than any year on record, according to the CDC, which estimates that 91 Americans die every day from an opioid overdose.
Some 5000,000 Americans died from 2000 to 2015 as a result of the opioid epidemic, the CDC says.
People in all age groups were more at risk for dying from drug overdoses but those between their mid-40s and their 60s were hardest hit, according to the new report.
And despite persistent concerns over teens and young adults abusing drugs, middle-aged adults were the most likely to suffer a fatal overdose, according to the report.
People between the ages of 54 to 65 saw the biggest percent increase in fatal drug overdoses during the study period, rising nearly five-fold from 4.2 deaths per 100,000 to 21.8 deaths in 2015.
Americans between the ages of 45 to 54 had the highest rate of fatal drug overdoses overall in 2015, with 30 deaths reported per 100,000.
Dr. Caleb Alexander, a co-director for the Johns Hopkins Center for Drug Safety and Effectiveness, said the report shows overdose deaths related to opioids are increasing at an "incredible rate"
"Each year I think it's hard to imagine it getting much worse and yet last year we had the highest number of deaths on record," Alexander said.
Alexander pointed out that the data highlighted how many people the drugs have impacted from across various age groups.
"Sometimes there's this perception that this is a problem of only teenagers or young adults and nothing could be further from the truth," Alexander said. "Middle aged and elderly adults are also being affected by the epidemic."
The deadly spread of illicit opioids were also reflected in the numbers. The percentage of fatal overdoses related to heroin more than tripled from 8 percent in 2010 to 25 percent in 2015. Synthetic opioids also took a heavy toll accounting for 18 percent of fatal overdose deaths in 2015 up from 8 percent in 2010.
But the increase was not all due to opioids, the percent of drug deaths from cocaine increased slightly to 13 percent in 2015 compared to 11 percent in 2010.
The percentage of overdose deaths due to natural and semisynthetic opioids -- which includes prescription heroin drugs oxycodone and hydrocodone -- decreased from 29 percent in 2010 to 24 percent in 2015.
In 2015 the states hardest hit by fatal drug overdoses were West Virginia with 41.5 deaths per 100,000 people, New Hampshire (34.3), Kentucky (29.9) and Ohio (29.9.)
Dr. Corey Slovis, chairman of department of emergency medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and medical director of the National Fire Department and National Airport, said the current drug epidemic is "the worst that I've ever seen it."
With opioid use increasing, Slovis said emergency services has had a hard time responding to all the overdose calls.
"It's that it's not just heroin anymore between the fentanyl [and] of the synthetic variants including carfentanil" an elephant tranquilizer, said Slovis.
Slovis said some illicit synthetic opioids can be 50 to 100 times more potent than heroin.
Fentanyl and Carfentanil, which was designed to be an elephant tranquilizer, has led in some instances to EMS personnel running out of the opioid antidote Narcan while treating a single patient, he said. Rather than use one or two doses they're using 10 doses to try and save a patient's life.
"When you use an elephant tranquilizer on a human, bad things are going to happen," Slovis said, explaining EMS personnel had to double the amount of Narcan they bring with them in the field.

I wrote to my Prime Minister Today

This is what I wrote my Prime Minister Today.
Dear Prime Minister Justin Trudeau,
As an immigrant myself, from Hungary, we came here legally under your father's administration. My parent's spent 6 months in Germany in a refugee camp. I love Canada, and love immigrants, but only VETTED IMMIGRANTS, who are here to Love Canada. I have worked as a translator in my adult life as a court interpreter, and just as recently as 3 years ago, Canada sent back all the ROMA's (Gypsies) after prolonged hearings, and costs to our community and nation. This cannot be repeated since our health care system is breaking, I waited a year for hip surgery, and our mental health system is a disaster. My 19 year old took her life from the Patullo Bridge 2 years ago. Canada cannot afford to house, feed, process these unvetted Migrants. You should visit North Surrey, and the Vancouver East side for a better understanding of our crisis in British Columbia with your team. We live in different times than your Father, and NO, WE DO NOT want SHARIA LAW in CANADA.. Please address this matter as URGENTLY as possible.. It would greatly help if your ideology was congruent with our American friends., or they will build a wall on this side also.. Sincerely, Maria .....

Lately, I hear many are pouring into Manitoba, White Rock, BC, and into Montreal. I hope that people will take the necessary action to find a solution that is good for everyone.

VIRGIN BEDROCK NOW UNEARTHED IN OROVILLE-MY THOUGHTS

Well, of all the you tube videos with the exception of the speculations about the rapture, these last few posts on Oroville, and Gold have been the most shocking and interesting posts by enterthe4tars.

The Government in California is in fact Gold Mining before the eyes of the public, and they don't even know it. The energy produced by the water spillway in Oroville is more than that of a rocketship. Forgive my layman's terms, but this is exactly the kind of energy that is required to seperate the gold from the boulders of rocks. The fact that there is a historic connection to King Yuba, and the only daughter of Cleopatra who fleed to Oroville from the Romans is even more interesting and the entire connection to King Solomon is breathtaking. The nine levies feeding into Oroville also is significant. The Mayor's recent trip in the night time to the top of the dam is also significant. The fact they they are doing this before our eyes, at the risk of the human life and animal life, while the Oscars and red carpets are promoted on television is something else.
PLEASE SEE MY PREVIOUS POSTS..THIS ONE ABOVE IS A NEW ONE TO GET DETAILED UNDERSTANDING. THIS IS HUGE..

Bricklayer's Accident Report-Funnies

AUSTRALIAN BRICKLAYER'S ACCIDENT REPORT
This is written in the funniest way. This is a bricklayer's accident report, which was printed in the newsletter of the Australian equivalent of the Workers' Compensation board.

This is a true story. Had this guy died, he'd have received a Darwin Award
for sure. You have to feel for him as he suffered horrible injuries but it is splendidly written.

Dear Sir,
I am writing in response to your request for additional information in Block
3 of the accident report form.
I put 'poor planning' as the cause of my accident.
You asked for a fuller explanation and I trust the following details will be
sufficient.

I am a bricklayer by trade.  On the day of the accident, I was working alone
on the roof of a new six-story building.  When I completed my work, I found
that I had some bricks left over which, when weighed later were found to be
slightly in excess of 500 lbs.  Rather than carry the bricks down by hand, I
decided to lower them in a barrel by using a pulley, which was attached to
the side of the building on the sixth floor.
Securing the rope at ground I went up to the roof, swung the barrel out and
loaded the bricks into it.  Then I went down and untied the rope, holding it
tightly to ensure a slow descent of the bricks.  You will note in Block 11
of the accident report form that I weigh 135 lbs.  Due to my surprise at
being jerked off the ground so suddenly, I lost my presence of mind and
forgot to let go of the rope.  Needless to say, I proceeded at a rapid rate
up the side of the building.  In the vicinity of the third floor, I met the
barrel, which was now proceeding downward at an equally impressive speed.
This explained the fractured skull, minor abrasions and the broken collar
bone, as listed in section 3 of the accident report form.  Slowed only
slightly, I continued my rapid ascent, not stopping until the fingers of my
right hand were two knuckles deep into the pulley.
Fortunately by this time I had regained my presence of mind and was able to
hold tightly to the rope, in spite of beginning to experience pain.  At
approximately the same time, however, the barrel of bricks hit the ground
and the bottom fell out of the barrel.  Now devoid of the weight of the
bricks, that barrel weighed approximately 50 lbs.  I refer you again to my
weight.
As you can imagine, I began a rapid descent, down the side of the building.
In the vicinity of the third floor, I met the barrel coming up.  This
accounts for the two fractured ankles, broken tooth and several lacerations
of my legs and lower body.
Here my luck began to change slightly.  The encounter with the barrel seemed
to slow me enough to lessen my injuries when I fell into the pile of bricks
and fortunately only three vertebrae were cracked.

I am sorry to report, however, as I lay there on the pile of bricks, in
pain, unable to move, I again lost my composure and presence of mind and let
go of the rope and I lay there watching the empty barrel begin its journey
back down onto me.  This explains the two broken legs.
I hope this answers your inquiry.

Double Suicide by Elderly Couple

"The way this world is going is not for us": Elderly couple left heartbreaking note before double suicide

The site of the elderly couple's suicide.© Mirror The site of the elderly couple's suicide. An elderly married couple drove to a secluded beauty spot and toasted their last moments together with wine before gassing themselves in a double suicide, an inquest heard.
A dog walker taking an early morning stroll in a National Trust estate came across the couple's Nissan Micra car parked in dense woodland with its engine still running and a hosepipe fed through the driver's window.
Police arrived and found Kathleen Howell and her husband David in a final embrace, surrounded by wine bottles and spirits and with a tumbler on the dashboard of the tiny car.
Paramedics declared them both dead at the scene and a search of their home revealed the fridge had been emptied and the freezer defrosted, with all electrical goods unplugged and manuals placed with them - and a note instructing all items to be donated to charity.
The couple had meticulously prepared their home to be discovered after their death and had left a note asking neighbours at the sheltered accommodation to feed a stray cat they had taken in.
Notes revealed details of their solicitors and that direct debit accounts had been cancelled and council tax and rent paid up in advance.
Police constable Laura Briant said: "David was in the driver's seat with his head tipped back and with his left arm around Kathleen.
She was slumped across the car towards him. There were numerous bottles of alcohol, wine and spirits and there was a tumbler glass set on the dashboard and a Minidisc player."
A coroner heard that a letter sent to Mr Howell's nephew, John, read: "Dear John and Lesley, by the time you get this we will be long gone. We hope you don't think too badly of us. The way this world is going is not for us. Have a good Christmas. Love from Dave and Kathy."
A post-mortem examination revealed the couple had both drunk alcohol, but a cause of death was given as carbon monoxide poisoning.
Their GP, Dr Robert Songhurst, wrote in a statement that Mr Howell, aged 73 years, had an operation on his leg months before, and Mrs Howell suffered from rheumatoid arthritis.
The pair were both due to be seen for hospital appointments.
Mrs Howell, aged 72 years, had worked as a warden at a care home, where the couple later lived, at Compass Point, Northchurch, Berkhampsted, Herts.
Her husband was a retired oil pipeline welder but investigators could not establish how long they had been married.
Both their elderly mothers were still alive at the time of the double suicide but they had few surviving relatives.
The report written by Pc Briant stated: "All police investigations have indicated that sadly, and with impeccable planning, Mr and Mrs Howell took their own lives, with no foul play or third party involvement."
They were found on a public bridleway on Northchurch Common, Berkhampsted, part of a 5,000-acre National Trust estate, Ashridge, in a scenic part of the Chilterns, on October 13 last year.
Coroner Geoffrey Sullivan said: "The evidence to my mind points to a conclusion of suicide .
"They meticulously put their affairs in order with the details of the solicitor to contact, their wishes as to funeral arrangements and they clearly cleaned the house and sent a letter to their nephew outlining what they were going to do.
"It was what they wanted to do and they did it together."
A conclusion of suicide was recorded at Hatfield Coroner's Court today.

Why Are So Many White Americans Die Young?

Drug and alcohol poisoning, suicide, and liver disease are depressing the life expectancy of white Americans, according to a new government study, explaining why the longevity gains experienced by other ethnic groups in recent years haven’t been realized universally.
Researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention identified those three causes — along with Alzheimer’s disease and hypertension — as the main culprits of the slow growth in white Americans’ life spans when compared to black and Hispanics over the last 15 years. The study did not include data for other ethnic groups.
Unintentional poisonings — the majority of which are caused by drugs or alcohol — had the biggest effect.
From 2000 to 2014, life expectancy for blacks increased 3.6 years, and for Hispanics it went up 2.6 years, according to the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics. But for whites, their life expectancy increased only 1.4 years over that time. And in fact, between 2013 and 2014 the measure actually declined slightly for white Americans for the first time in over two decades.
The study, published Friday as a NCHS Data Brief, follows recent research that showed more white Americans are dying young from specific causes like drug overdoses and suicide. The question was: “What effect is that having on life expectancy?” said Kenneth Kochanek, one of the NCHS researchers.
Combined, unintentional poisonings, suicide, and chronic liver disease drove a staggering 28 percent increase in the death rate of white Americans aged 25 to 34. Photo by Ovi Gherman/via Flickr https://flic.kr/p/dJM2VM

Combined, unintentional poisonings, suicide, and chronic liver disease drove a staggering 28 percent increase in the death rate of white Americans aged 25 to 34, as well as more modest increases in mortality for whites aged 35 to 54 over the 15-year study period.
Unintentional poisonings — the majority of which are caused by drugs or alcohol — had the biggest effect, knocking off around 4 months from the life expectancy of white Americans.
That led to a plateau in life expectancy for non-Hispanic white Americans. In 2013, the expected life span for this group was 81.2 years. In 2014, the number went down to 81.1.
“We’ve been looking at this upward trend for 20 years, and now all of a sudden we’re flatlining,” Kochanek said. “It’s like: ‘Okay, something’s going on.’”
The trend defies history. “It’s supposed to keep going up,” Kochanek said.
The study results echo those from two Princeton economists, who showed last September that mortality rates went up among middle-aged white Americans from 1999 to 2013. Those researchers also identified drug and alcohol poisonings, suicide, and chronic liver disease as the primary culprits for the trend, while noting a particular uptick in the death rates of less educated white Americans.
“This change reversed decades of progress in mortality and was unique to the United States,” the authors wrote. “No other rich country saw a similar turnaround.”

Police Opinion Deemed Expert Evidence

Police opinion deemed expert evidence in drug-impairment trials, SCC rules

Criminal defence lawyer Angela Chaisson speaks about the ruling on drug impairment and how crown prosecutors will benefit.
A police officer's opinion on a motorist's level of drug-induced impairment should be accepted as expert evidence, the SCC has ruled.
Legal analyst Edward Prutschi discusses the implications of the ruling and says this is a win for prosecutors and the police.

A police officer’s opinion about a driver’s level of impairment can be admitted as expert testimony at drugged-driving trials without prior examination of the evidence, the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled.
Police officers can administer field sobriety tests for suspected drug impairment, but unlike alcohol, there’s currently no roadside test such as a breathalyzer.
There is also no legal blood-concentration driving limit for marijuana or other drugs. Therefore, in drug-impairment cases, the courts must rely on the specially trained police officers known as drug recognition experts, or DREs, sometimes referred to as evaluators. Police officers train to become DREs through a 12-step program that includes tests on an individual’s eyes, attention, blood pressure and pulse.
In its 5-2 decision released Thursday, the Supreme Court ruled that an evaluator’s opinion can be admitted as expert evidence at trial without first submitting to a voir dire, or preliminary examination of the evidence.
That means that DREs can essentially avoid being subject to attacks on their credibility by defence lawyers in a voir dire scenario, says CTV legal analyst Edward Prutschi.
“That goes a long way towards getting a conviction,” Prutschi told CTV News Channel Thursday. “Makes it very difficult for defence lawyers like myself, (but) not impossible.”
The ruling could effectively mean quicker trials for cases of suspected drug-impaired driving, since the ruling gives legal weight to DREs’ testimony.
“They are considered experts, their opinion is given the weight of expertise in court,” Prutschi said.
He said that the people “who are happiest about this are going to be police officers and Crown prosecutors because it does pave a path for easier prosecution of drug-impaired driving, which … is becoming an increasingly difficult problem to deal with.
“And in particular, when we start talking about blending that with some form of decriminalization or legalization of marijuana, the likelihood that we’re going to see more and more of that, is a real concern to police forces all across Canada.”
The decision means the case involving Carson Bingley of Ottawa will proceed to a third trial. In 2009, Ottawa police charged Bingley with driving while impaired after he cut off a driver, crossed the centre line nearly colliding with oncoming traffic. He later struck a car in a parking lot.
An officer on scene said Bingley showed signs of intoxication, however, an alcohol screening test found his blood-alcohol concentration well below the legal limit.
Bingley failed a standard field sobriety test administered by a DRE at the scene. “When he failed the sobriety tests, Mr. Bingley was charged with driving while drug impaired,” a case summary notes.
Bingley admitted to taking two Xanax and smoking marijuana in the 12 hours before he was stopped by police. The DRE decided Bingley’s ability to drive was impaired by marijuana use. A urine test revealed the presence of cannabis, cocaine and Alprazolam.
Bingley was acquitted in an Ontario court, and a summary conviction appeal led to the acquittal being overturned and a new trial being ordered.
There, a second judge ruled that the DRE evidence could be admitted without a voir dire. However, on the voir dire, the judge determined that the DRE evidence was inadmissible, and Bingley was again acquitted.
The Crown’s appeal of that decision will now go to trial.
"Driving while impaired by drugs is a dangerous and, sadly, common activity, prohibited by the Criminal Code," Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin wrote in an explanation of the Supreme Court ruling. "Parliament long ago established a regime to enforce the law against alcohol-impaired driving, with breathalyzer testing and analyst certification at its centre. Enforcing the offence of drug-impaired driving was more elusive."
In her dissenting reasons, however, Justice Andromache Karakatsanis said that the 12-step evaluation used by DREs should be viewed as a tool for investigators, not as “an evidentiary shortcut at trial.”

This is the correct translation from Wycliffe. This means 120 Jubilees. We are entering the 120th Jubilee.. General Allenby entered Jerusalem in 1917.After the Bride leaves, God will no longer DWELL in us, but in a Temple once again.

I Pressure Washed

Well, as I look at the frost on the roof's and the seagull's and crows peeking in my window for food, I can't believe that I pressure washed yesterday. My husband and I got an electric clearance pressure washer from Canadian Tire. A dream of mine, since the gas one, which is powerful, is sometimes too much for the small jobs, like decks, fences and sidewalks. Our water was just turned on for the year, and I simply got a small portion done: our driveway.
The driveway had all the de-icer, dead worms, and oil stains on it. I also pulled out some of the plants from our garage, and had to cover it with potato sacks over night. Many of them are perenials, so I don't have to worry about them. All this effort led me to realize how much more work there is to do in my garage. Today I am cleaning our extra fridge out. I noticed that a box of potatoes have started to sprout. I may divide it and bring it in to our home to sprout even further.
Considering that my hands with two pins, and my new hip is a nagging pain in my daily routine, I have to carry on and assist my dear husband who has severe Chron's disease. The doctor most recently, wants his 'brain to reset', so for a month or two, he is off pain medication. This of course brings out many mood swings, and the agony of pain is enhanced. All we can do is to be encouraging. He continues with his cross guard position daily, and told me that he hopes that the cold will numb the pain. I suggested that he puts on his wool leggins under his uniform. Yes, those who are married live longer statistics show. We have served one another with goodwill all our lives. I appreciate him very much. As my friend recently became a widow, and the funeral is today, in Winnipeg,  we realize even more the brevity of life. The bible says it is as the flower of grass, here one day and gone the next.

Abstract:
In a paper published in Current Oncology, University of Ottawa palliative care physician Jose Pereira states that the, “laws and safeguards [in countries in which euthanasia or assisted suicide have been legalized] are regularly ignored and transgressed in all the jurisdictions, and that transgressions are not prosecuted.” He purports to demonstrate that the safeguards and controls put in place in the permissive jurisdictions are an “illusion.”

In the present paper, we expose problems with the evidence base provided and relied upon by Pereira. It should be noted that we provide only examples of each of the categories of mistakes made by Pereira. The original work contains more, but the examples given should suffice to demonstrate that Pereira’s conclusions are not supported by the evidence provided by him. We conclude that his paper should not be given any credence in the public policy debate about the legal status of assisted suicide and euthanasia in Canada and around the world.

The killing of a woman in a long-term care facility is reviving the debate about medically-assisted death.
Jocelyne Lizotte, 60, had Alzheimer's disease and limited mobility. She used a wheelchair to get around the Emilie Gamelin nursing home where she lived.
Her husband, 55-year-old Michel Cadotte, is charged with her murder.
Police said Lizotte may have been smothered by a pillow, and on Facebook Cadotte said that he "cracked" and "consented to her demands to help her die."
One of Lizotte's relatives said the woman had asked for medical assistance to die, but was denied.
Medical ethicists said it could be due to the woman suffering from dementia.
"Both provincially here in Quebec and federally, we're consistent on that point, you have to be competent not only when requesting it but at the time of receiving it. Which is why both federal and provincial you cannot receive an advance directive," said Dr. Eugene Bereza.
Dr. George L'Esperance, an advocate for medically-assisted death, said the law should be broadened for dementia patients.
"When you know you will be able to decide in two, three, five years after, that you cannot actually give your consent, but it would be most important that when you can give your consent you can give it so it would be available when you need it.,"said L'Esperance.
The Alzheimer Society disagrees.
It argues that patients need to be protected because everyone's progression through the disease differs, and their desires can change over time.
"It's very difficult with the complexity of dementia to know for sure what a person with dementia would want today," said April Hayward.
"They may have expressed a wish ten years ago and do we know for certain that's what they would want today?"
Veroninque Hivon drafted the law, and said the topic of advanced consent is still being debated in society at large.
"I think that it is a question for the society for sure to discuss and I think of course that we have to be very vigilant," said the MNA.
Dr. Bereza thinks a good first step would be to test the idea with unique cases, including people with dementia.
"Having a very robust requirement to do it carefully to document it with multiple evaluations, very explicitly over time, family, physicians and others - that's a very different kind of process which we haven't requested. Maybe that's a proportionate, creative response legislatively, for this category of patients," he said.
But he acknowledges that finding the perfect balance between access to assisted death, and protecting vulnerable patients, will be very difficult.
