Advocacy into Action-Public Meeting

 The good thing is that we are all actively trying to do something about educating people about mental health. I just got news that our next meeting with our politicians and professionals will be taking place in the month of April. This is in response to the very well attended town-hall meeting that we had earlier this year.(The first of it's kind in BC). We will have more time, to hear, and take action surrounding this very difficult subject of suicide and mental health. Even the coroner will be there. Please circulate widely, and mark off your calendars in advance.  The Lord willing we can all support one another as more and more families face this very into your face fact of life. We want to support and help as many families as we can, in whatever way we can.

#NewWestminster Police & Coast Guard units are searching the water after reports someone jumped off the Queensborough Bridge

My now youngest daughter told me about this twitter account that immediately posts events as they happen here in British Columbia. Sadly, she noticed that yet another suicide has just occured off our New Westminister bridge, the Queensborough. Please pray for the family who I'm sure is devastated like we were on that night our Deborah disappeared out of our lives. She too apparently, Deborah was mentioned on Scan BC, with several remarks and tweets below it, some of which my girls will not let me look at even to this day.
