Things Yet Unseen

I fed the birds peanuts this morning. It is minus 2 degrees Celsius outside. I was hoping to tidy up more boxes in the unheated garage, but I may have to wait. I just removed my 'easy home ' pulsating machine on my leg. So far the doctors could not figure out why my calve is still hurting from the branch poke I got 9 months ago. I even had a false diagnosis of fungus. I have now determined like so many that we cannot rely on the doctors, and have to figure out ourselves what helps and what does not. I even have been known to take my husbands prednisone to prevent all the itchy feeling. I just want to be well for the arrival of my little grand-daughter. I can't wait to hold her in a few months. What a miracle to be able to hold a new born baby! I wonder what she will be named?
While the world appears to be falling apart, the glimpses of hope in mankind and humanity blossoms each day. We grasp the untangible by faith. Things unseen.. what faith is.
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11: 1-6
