Yesterday, was her 21st birthday, celebrated in Heaven.

This morning we had a special surprise as we listened to this song posted by one of Deborah's friend from elementary school. Liam has gone on to be a professional musician, and song writer. The song will be available in a more polished format with lyrics in the future. We are honored that so many people are remembering her in a beautiful way. Deborah, loved songs, and had a creative spirit about her on instruments of all kinds. She was an avid pianist, and took violin till grade 5 level.
A sweet family also surprised us yesterday by bringing over  a beautiful pink azelia, assorted European sandwiches, hot apple cider in a crock pot, and raspberry juice. Everything was complete with plates, cups, and sweets. My heart still flutters to think that another birthday has slipped by without her.. Ohh how we terribly miss her, her voice, her zeal, her energy, her gentleness, and kindness. Visiting the grave was the hardest, as we went there in the morning with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The wind was cold, and strong, the mud covered our shoes. We drove around the cemetary to try to see some beauty in the landscaping. To no avail. all that will satisfy is an empty grave, and Deborah alive.
As we had our taxes done the other day, the bookkeeper who is also a friend on my facebook page expressed to Ron, his psychological skills, and told him that I must share so much about the end times, because this is how I am dealing with Deborah's loss. Well, he may be right about that to an extent, but, I do truly believe that we have extremely short time to muck around, and play games. We must bring as many to Christ as possible. Even tonight, I invited my Japanese student to sit with me, and read in Japanese the four steps to salvation in Japanese. This is something she never heard of before. All she does is plays games on her computer, and draws cartoon animations. This is their entire pre occupation. I stand amazed at seeing that she isn't even sure at age 15 how much sugar she would like in her cup of tea. What is happening to our generation? Are they living in a make believe world? No responsibility, no work, just be entertained? I hope people figure out that there is more to life than living.. It is by dying to ourselves that we can serve others.
