What does it mean? The Lord comes as a thief in the night?

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1 Thessalonians 5:2-5

If Jesus comes as a thief what does that mean? Well a thief comes to take something. They steal in silence. Usually no one knows their belongings are missing until they are GONE. So essentially a thief comes by SURPRISE to those who are in "darkness" or "asleep" and not watching. Jesus WILL take his bride by surprise to our families and friends who refuse to hear the warnings. One morning they will wake up and wonder where we went. BUT the kicker is since we are children of light we will NOT be taken by surprise. If we are AWAKE and WATCHING our house, how is it possible the thief will come in unnoticed? He comes as a thief ONLY to those who remain asleep through his trumpet call! We will KNOW he's coming for us!!!! Amen!!!!!

This is all about the secret rapture, not the one when the church is rapture, and the dead in Christ shall rise. That is a different occasion after the departure of the male bride child.
