I hope that you have sponged in much from my last 3 posts. Extremely, informative I found, and accurate in it's depiction. I thank you, my readers for keeping mental health in the forefront. There is so much work to be done. The blog has had over 100 thousand views.
I am sitting here reflecting on my last few days. I have rushed to finish the pressure washing for the long weekend. I injured my two feet while stepping in the broken cat's dish. Yesterday morning, I was in the doctor's office with a piece of glass in my foot that my family could not take out with tweezers, and needles. After much wailing, and painful torture we decided that I must go and see a doctor. Usually, I'm the one taking out splinters and other foreign objects from other people but yesterday was different. The doctor who saw me said because he could not feel anything in my foot with his gloved up hands, all he can do is bandage it up and refer me to have an x-ray as to where the glass is situated. He did admit however, that very likely the x-ray would not show up anything. (If it wasn't for my assertiveness, today I would still have glass in my foot-so hear what I did) So upon hearing that there were two doctors in this clinic that morning from the the waiting room, chats; I asked the Muslim doctor if I can please have the other doctor look at me. He was a little uncomfortable with the idea but agreed. By this time I have struck up a conversation about the return of Jesus, and he indicated to me that he cannot wait for his return (they too are waiting for their Messiah). I told him how Mohammad was unable to bring a bird back to life, and needed forgiveness, unlike Jesus who was holy and can bring life back. I told him how Mohammad was killed by his Jewish wife. etc etc. I started ranting as much as I could and knew about the Islamic faith. By then, the Chinese doctor showed up.The Muslim doctor had an ear full. I suggested that they find a thinner glove somehow so they can feel the glass. Sure enough, it was high up on a shelf in a package. With big lamps, they both gazed into my foot, and the Chinese doctor proceeded to press, and excavate the small curved glass out of my foot. I told them not to worry, I gave birth to 4 children and just do what they needed to. I shouted Hallelujah, thank you Jesus with a loud voice after it was all done. I thanked them immensely! What a relief. Though my other foot also was bleeding into my shoes earlier, I did not feel a glass in it. Then to complete the task the Muslim doctor gave me a tetanus shot which I haven't had for 10 years. So the gist of the story is that I believe I had to be there to talk to the first doctor about Jesus. the real one, not the one the Islamic world is waiting for. May God's Word bring about all that He chooses to accomplish and not go void. Thank you Lord! Today I will be elevating my feet and resting. Pressure washing will have to wait, I'm afraid.
