An Update before November ends; We just had the painters finish the bathrooms yesterday, and the counter tops are arriving tomorrow. Today, our electrician friend is installing the few outstanding things left. Tiling will be the last to happen, both on the kitchen wall, as well as on the bathroom floors. It appears everyone is busy now that December is on the horizon.
This Friday is the pot-luck/pot-bless suicide support dinner at the funeral home. It will be nice to see other families from the past, and new families whom we have not yet met. I am simply grateful, that even a facilitator to the group will be there who has now become a friend. Life is one busy stream of events and thoughts.
I had little sleep last night. I am not sure if it is age, or simply the madness of having downsized is exhibiting its monstrous claws. It is hard to function when you are up 3-4 times a night. Also the fact that I still have no curtains is surely contributing to my sleep deprivation. So please bear with me while these things get ironed out. Please take care of your mental health and be sensitive to those around you who may be struggling.
