The HOpe Center-Completed

This facility in North Vancouver just had a one hour documentary done about the patients who benefit from this mental health center. I will try to post it as soon as I can.

The HOpe Centre – Completed

Thanks to the incredible support and generosity of community members, Lions Gate Hospital Foundation has reached its fundraising stretch goal, completing the Foundation’s most ambitious campaign to date by raising an unprecedented $26.5M to build The Greta and Robert H.N. HO Psychiatry & Education Centre, (The HOpe Centre) at Lions Gate Hospital. This important project has transformed the delivery of mental health services on the North Shore, providing both space for the Djavad Mowafaghian UBC Medical Education Centre and a permanent home for BC Ambulance.
The HOpe Centre is a bright and spacious 150,000 square foot, four-storey building, centrally located at the corner of East 13th Street and St. Andrews Avenue. The new Centre provides patients with seamless integrated inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care. The new Education Centre also helps train future physicians in all specialties, many of whom will choose to put down roots on the North Shore and further enhance health care in our community.
