Three people have now been charged and a number of items seized, including fentanyl, crack, luxury cars and cash, following a major drug bust in Maple Ridge.
Ridge Meadows RCMP say this three-month investigation is part of a project developed to target drug dealers in the community.
On Aug. 4, around 2:20 a.m., RCMP arrested Maciej (Matt) Kranc of Coquitlam during a traffic stop. A black VW Jetta was also seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
Kranc is no stranger to the police and has been charged with previous drug offences. He is allegedly linked to drug dealings in the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows area.
The investigation led police to a property in Coquitlam and a storage locker in the Ridge Meadows area. Officers executed a search warrant at the Coquitlam home where drugs, evidence of drug trafficking and a large sum of cash was seized. At the storage locker, police seized more drugs, guns, stolen mail and more cash.
The drugs are believed to be fentanyl, crack cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin.
Kranc remains in custody pending his next court appearance.
Christine Nelson, from Maple Ridge, was also been arrested. She was released on bail conditions. Alicia Van Huisen of Coquitlam was also arrested and remains in custody.
Police have also seized a 2017 white Mercedes GT Coupe and a 2013 red Mercedes ML63 SUV.
Police say more charges are anticipated.
