Outing to Bear Creek Park and Deborah' Bench

Yesterday, we took the Grandchildren to the little train at Bear Creek Park. It was a cool morning, for the little ones. There was a table for making Reindeer hats, Candy canes, and a ginger bread house inside the concession stand. The Trees had spirals of multicoloured lights. The Tunnel was fully decorated with giant lolli pops, Winni the Pooh Charachters, and Christmas icons. We were adorned with mitts and hats and coats and blankets to sit on as the train whistled by the meandering track. The Conductor was very polite. They will have a busy schedule in the next few weeks. It is a special park to us. On the way to to Galary, we saw Deborahs Bench that was carefuly placed inside the gated area underneath the flag posts. We were very happy to point out the location to our grandchildren. Deborah's Bench in our honor of our daughter who started this entire Blog Theme, will be renewed shortly for another ternm It is situated along with 2 other benches, but hers is the nices spot on the corner with more space around it so her friends can gather for a chat of encouragement. We then made it to the Gallery, the Court Yard, the display of beautiful pictures, quiet rooms, and boutique. We are so thankful for this crown jewel located in the heart of our city. A quick hide and seek game, along with a hearty lunch from their lunch boxes and we were off in our travels once more.
