Simon Dhillon and Mental health.

I am including this story as the mother of Dhillon has recently written a book about her son's mental illness that led to this event. I will try to find out the title of her book soon and attach it to this article. The location of this attack is very close to where I live.

A man has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of a father-of-three found dead at a beauty spot in Surrey. Anthony James Radford, 34, was found battered to death on Pewley Down, near Guildford, on 27 June, 2005.
Simon Dhillon, 24, of York Road, Guildford, was detained indefinitely under the Mental Health Act when he appeared at the Old Bailey on Monday.
Simon Norris, 22, of Chertsey Street, Guildford, was jailed for perverting the course of justice last October.
He was sentenced to two years imprisonment at the Old Bailey.
The body of Mr Radford, an unemployed single man whose children were from earlier relationships, was found at Pewley Down nature reserve by an elderly man.
Mr Radford, from York Road, Guildford, had severe injuries from a number of blows to the head.
Responding to the sentencing of Dhillon, Det Ch Insp Gary Sumner, of Surrey Police, said Mr Radford had died after a "particularly vicious and nasty attack".

  1. Did you ever find the name of the book? I would be very interested to read it.
