Windsong cohousing

It will be an interesting day tomorrow, as we are going to see a community almost like a commune of sorts to live at if the Lord tarries. This place seems ideal, as one is not as isolating, maybe an option for our retirement.  It has their own lounge, common rooms , mechanic shop, garden, play centre, and covered patio. It is modeled after some places in Holland.. I'll tell you all about it. Our tour is in the morning. I feel that we have to investigate all opportunities. Also apparently, people live longer in a community setting.. So here we go...

Welcome to the WindSong Cohousing Community, an innovative neighbourhood architecturally-designed to encourage interactions among members and to enrich our lives with the pleasure of cooperation and friendship.
Cohousing offers private strata-titled homes, safe surroundings, and the benefits of a sustainable lifestyle. WindSong consists of 34 townhomes, a beautiful multipurpose common house, forested land and gardens.

Our multigenerational community is home to almost one hundred people who care about each other and our world. We're situated on 5.8 acres, 45 minutes east of Vancouver, BC, Canada.
