To make comfrey salve
Caro Hawkins
The way I make my comfrey salve is: dry comfrey leaves slowly and cover crushed leaves with olive oil. Leave for 4 to 6 weeks in a dark place and stir occasionally when I remember.
Strain through a muslin cloth and very gently warm in a double boiler. Add approx 1.5 tbsp bees wax to every cup of liquid. When bees wax is melted stir well and pour into jars to set. Works wonders for arthritis pain.....
