THOSE
WHO ENJOY SEARCHING OUT the hidden treasures pertaining to the biblical
calendar may find it interesting to note that during Pentecost, a.k.a.
the “fiftieth day,” the moon is in its first quarter phase, meaning it
is precisely FIFTY percent visible.*
Thus, on the “fiftieth day” (June 12 this year), even the moon is proclaiming the number “fifty!”**

When we think about the intricacies of the biblical calendar, how the feasts relate to one another, to the harvest cycle, and to certain momentous events occurring in time and space (i.e., the spring fulfillments by Messiah 2,000 years ago), it is staggering to consider how the Lord was able to, in addition to the above, make it work out so that the “fiftieth day” would correspond to the “fifty-percent” phase of the moon. It is yet another layer of accord in an already mind blowingly synchronistic lattice of dates, events, and circumstances.
The placement of Pentecost on God’s calendar, fifty days after Passover, makes sense in every respect: numerically, thematically, prophetically, agriculturally, and celestially.
The more one digs into this calendar, the more it becomes apparent it was designed by One who exists outside of time and space and who is Master of both.
“O, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and untraceable His ways!” —Romans 11:33
