We found the water leak in front of the house. After a long excavation project Eureka! the hole is found. No wonder our water leak has been so high. It wasn't just my young adult daughters using my water profusely! We have been bucketing the mud/clay concoction in little buckets. Oh, the things we found! A large unbroken light bulb, a coke can, plastic wrappers, wood, bricks, and maybe more unrecognizable stuff. We prayed that Jesus would help us find it in that horrific large mountain of dirt, and He did! Now I am showered and in bed, exhausted at 10 am in the morning. I wrote to the company Tybo for an estimate to do our front lawn, as we are certainly not able to save the lawn. I missed my walking group this morning because of this Eureka moment. Now it is time for a painkiller, and wait for the bruise to appear on my thigh. As I was pulled out of the ditch/mud I did not have a very safe landing. I recommend for anyone who takes on such an adventure to cover your socks with plastic white garbage bags so your feet stays dry. Soon we will be able to put away sum pumps and wash our boots. The work will linger for at least a good week.
I had to miss my suicide support group walk. The lady at Valley View funeral home just returned from holidays. I wonder how everyone is doing. Likely, others will be joining our group, short term or longer, we want to be there for the hurting. Us survivors are a rare breed, we exist, we breathe, we numbly carry on. Please be sensitive to someone's mental health today. Thank you Friend.
