Who Can forgive Abortion?

I would like to make a brief comment on the news item that came out today.
New International Version
He will show no regard for the gods of his ancestors or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all. Daniel 11:37.

You will find this scripture verse in the bible.

Today it was announced that the pope and his priests can forgive those women who have had abortions, see partial article below. He is truly exalting himself as a god, in order to do this. My question to an intelligent person is why not then have the men line up also for the forgiveness of their sin, who have impregnated these women and in some cases coerced the women to abort their babies?  I am disgusted with the filth of such "supreme" entities who truly cannot see the light. Yes, abortion is wrong, but we have a loving Father who does forgive our sin. I suppose it has strung a chord with me, because when I got pregnant with my fourth child, who is Deborah, one of the physicians who confirmed my pregnancy told me that "You have options... you know". His suggestion was more than I could bear, and I left the clinic, never to return again.  Please go for forgiveness to the One who can forgive our sins, the Lord Jesus Christ, who bore all our sins on the cross of Calvary. Then, walk victoriously, because you know He forgave you.. You always have a direct line to the Master of the Universe. Pope Francis at the Vatican's Santa Marta hotel

VATICAN CITY -- Pope Francis declared on Tuesday he is allowing all priests in the church's upcoming Year of Mercy to absolve women of the "sin of abortion" if they repent with a "contrite heart," saying he is acutely aware some feel they have no choice but to abort.
Reflecting his papacy's central theme of mercy, Francis said in letter published by the Vatican that he has met many women bearing "the scar of this agonizing" decision to abort. He said God's forgiveness cannot be denied to those who repent, and therefore he is giving all priests the power to absolve the sin in the Holy Year of Mercy running Dec. 8, 2015 until Nov. 20, 2016.
