Well, I am so amazed as to how God works. I recently met a man and his two teenage daughters who happened to be looking for domestic work for a family I know. They offered to come over and pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit for my girls. He went straight into praying in his prayer language along with the girls, and in a short time both my husband and daughter began to speak in tongues. There is nothing in the Bible that says you need to give your heart to Christ, or "accept" Him into your heart.  However, the Bible does say to "Repent", (turn from your ways)" and be baptized," (by full immersion i.e. completely under water) "every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost"(with the evidence of speaking in tongues). (Acts 2":38). We are to experience the Power of the Living God every day! These simple folks demonstrated their pure joy and humility in praying for my family, and  their obedience to God will be rewarded. Now, I hope that this spark, and desire to obey Christ will continue in our family. We all want to be together after all, those who have gone before us, and those who will be caught up. For those of you who have been following a little of Jewish Feast days, Elul 29 ends and Tishri 1 Begins on September 13, 2015 when the shadow of the setting sun covers the Temple Mount, at 10:49 Central Kansas time or 8:49 Pacific Coast Time, here in BC, Canada.
