I came across this dialogue, one brother writing to another..that I found intriguing.
"It
is simply called lack of understanding brother and your language is
condemning...sorry, but your language is not one of love.. she and I
have gone back and forth....her understanding is clear concerning what
Christ has fulfilled and everything she said
is with a reasonable perspective and proven correct for the most part
but I say lacks a hidden aspect that her eyes and heart are not ready to
see and receive yet...she is a person as myself and when I believe I am
right, I must be proven wrong, when I am proven wrong, I acknowledge
it.....she has not proven me wrong concerning the gift of counting and I
pray that God will open her eyes to the secret and hidden part of God's
Word... a beautiful mystery that only brings us to a deeper knowledge
of our Lord and Savior.....He wants us to know Him personally and not
just accept Him in word....this deeper knowledge does not change the
message of His finished work on the cross....it is the work of Holy
Spirit to teach us...let Holy Spirit correct....all we can do is share
our testimony and if someone chooses to reject the work of Holy Spirit
in us without making sure we are speaking truth by comparing it to the
word, then it is on their head, if they are rejecting true wisdom,
knowledge and understanding....if anyone rejects knowledge, and they
perish, it is on them.
Out
of the abundance of the mouth the heart speaks.....we have to
learn to run(contend) with men before you can run with horses!!....she
just might be able to help you see things you've never understood
before....if you listen....women are known
to use both sides of the brain compared to men using more of one side
of the brain, primarily........just when you think a woman is wrong, she
may be right... but I stand my ground in faith of what God has shown
me....she's just a real thoroughbred brother, a strong runner who has to
be beat by a stronger horse....sorry, no disrespect intended,
just spiritual male lingo!!!"
