A Glimpse into Bi-Polar

Today, I went on a bus to Port Coquitlam. I started a conversation with a Filipino lady, who is around my age. Very soon we went from general chatting to deep conversation of how her grand-daughter is likely bi-polar and has talked of suicide, at the young age of 14. I did give her my telephone number if she wanted to talk and shared my blog information. In her grand daughters case, it was observed by a relative who is a psychiatric nurse that she likely has bi-polar depression. She also has a body image, and is using some on line products to loose weight. The pretty snow capped scene of the mountains, and homes, chilled our new acquaintance. I could see her eyes grow moist, since we feel so helpless when faced with family members who are suffering mentally and emotionally.
