THE PROPHET ZECHARIAH’S ACCOUNT OF THE COMING JUDGEMENT
1.
Zechariah 12:1-14 The burden[a] of the word of the LORD
against Israel. Thus says the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, lays
the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: 2
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the
surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3
And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy
stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in
pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. 4 In
that day,” says the LORD, “I will strike every horse with confusion, and
its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and
will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. 5 And the
governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of
Jerusalem are my strength in the LORD of hosts, their God.’ 6 In that
day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile,
and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the
surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem
shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem. 7 “The LORD will
save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David
and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater
than that of Judah. 8 In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants
of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like
David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the
LORD before them. 9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy
all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 “And I will pour on the
house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace
and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they
will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him
as one grieves for a firstborn. 11 In that day there shall be a great
mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of
Megiddo.[b] 12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the
family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves;
the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by
themselves; 13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their
wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by
themselves; 14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and
their wives by themselves. (An amazing account by the prophet Zechariah
concerning this same coming judgment. The inner ring arab countries
who lay siege on Israel and will be cut to pieces. All the nations of
the earth will be against Israel. We already see the USA and Europe
posturing against Israel and siding with the Palestinians. All nations
of the world will hate Israel. We see it today. The Lord will pour out
his spirit on the house of Israel, making them very strong for battle.
They will see him whom they pierced in this spiritual vision and will
mourn heavily for killing him.)
2. Zechariah 13:1-2 “In
that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the
inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness. 2 “It shall be
in that day,” says the Lord of hosts, “that I will cut off the names of
the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered. I will
also cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to depart from the land.
(This is the cleansing fountain that will be opened to wash sin away
during this mass spiritual vision, when the house of Israel is called to
Christ)
THE PROPHET ASAPH’S ACCOUNT OF THE COMING JUDGEMENT
1.
Psalms 83:1-18 Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your
peace, And do not be still, O God!2 For behold, Your enemies make a
tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head.3 They have
taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against
Your sheltered ones.4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off
from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no
more.”5 For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a
confederacy against You:6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab
and the Hagrites;7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the
inhabitants of Tyre;8 Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped
the children of Lot. Selah9 Deal with them as with Midian ,As with
Sisera, As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,10 Who perished at En Dor, Who
became as refuse on the earth.11 Make their nobles like Oreb and like
Zeeb, Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,12 Who said, “Let
us take for ourselves The pastures of God for a possession.”13 O my God,
make them like the whirling dust, Like the chaff before the wind!14 As
the fire burns the woods, And as the flame sets the mountains on fire,15
So pursue them with Your tempest, And frighten them with Your storm.16
Fill their faces with shame, That they may seek Your name, O LORD.17 Let
them be confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame
and perish,18 That they may know that You, whose name alone is the LORD,
Are the Most High over all the earth.
THE PROPHET JOEL’S ACCOUNT OF THE COMING JUDGEMENT
1.
Joel 2:12-17 “Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me
with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”13
So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God,
For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm.14 Who knows if He will turn and relent,
And leave a blessing behind Him—A grain offering and a drink offering
For the LORD your God?15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast,
Call a sacred assembly;16 Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation,
Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the
bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing
room.17 Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, Weep between the
porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O LORD, And do
not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over
them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’”
(Those that believe in Christ today and honor him will be included in
the mass calling and vision that will take place. These individuals are
part of the house of Israel. As you clearly see written in this text,
the bride groom Jesus Christ will be meeting his bride, the Church and
the house of Israel in vision. The house of Israel will weep for
denying him and killing him. This is not the rapture. This is the
outpouring of the holy spirit and the spiritual meeting between the
house of Israel and the Lord whom they pierced. Even the priests will
weep. This is a powerful passage giving a last warning for those who
have not repented to repent , to enable them to be included in this
spiritual event. Again it is in the time period where Israel is being
attacked by its neighbors and God/Jesus spares his people)
2.
Joel 2:28-32 “28 “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will
pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall
prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see
visions.29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour
out My Spirit in those days.30 “And I will show wonders in the heavens
and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.31 The sun shall
be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of
the great and awesome day of the LORD.32 And it shall come to pass That
whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion
and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the LORD has said, Among
the remnant whom the LORD calls. (A powerful depiction of the second
Pentecost, the outpouring of the spirit, visions, dreams. Blood, fire
and pillars of smoke will be everywhere during the judgement on the
nations. The sign we are told is the blood moons and solar eclipses
taking place in 2014 and 2015. We do not see this same pattern again
for another 1000 years. All who repent and call on Jesus will be saved.
People will once again fear God and obey him)
3. Joel 2:21-27
“Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the LORD has done
marvelous things!22 Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the
open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig
tree and the vine yield their strength.23 Be glad then, you children of
Zion, And rejoice in the LORD your God; For He has given you the former
rain faithfully,[d]And He will cause the rain to come down for you—The
former rain, And the latter rain in the first month.24 The threshing
floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine
and oil.25 “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust
has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing
locust,[e]My great army which I sent among you.26 You shall eat in
plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who
has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to
shame.27 Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the
LORD your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to
shame. (Another powerful depiction of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
He will cause the Holy Spirit to rain down with strength equal to the
first and second Pentecost all at once. And we are told it happens in
the first month which is the month of Nisan. Nisan is April. This
outpouring will take place before the war to prepare Israel for battle
with the arab nations. The solar eclipse in March 2015 and the blood
moon in April 2015 is the sign of coming judgment and outpouring of the
Holy Spirit. The fig tree Israel we are told shall know at that moment
the Jesus Christ is God almighty.)
THE PROPHET AMOS’S ACCOUNT OF THE COMING JUDGEMENT
1.
Amos 9:11-15 “On that day I will raise up The tabernacle[c]
of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages ;I will raise up
its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old;12 That they may
possess the remnant of Edom,[d]And all the Gentiles who are called by My
name,”Says the LORD who does this thing.13 “Behold, the days are
coming,” says the LORD,“When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And
the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with
sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it.14 I will bring back
the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste cities and
inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They
shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.15 I will plant them in
their land, And no longer shall they be pulled up From the land I have
given them ,”Says the LORD your God. (The Lord plans to bring his people
into the entire promised land which is partly occupied by Arabs. He
will bless the land and the people. He will cause the third temple to
be rebuilt. Construction of the third temple is imminent and will begin
immediately after the psalms 83 war.)
THE PROPHET OBADIAH’S ACCOUNT OF THE COMING JUDGEMENT
1.
Obadiah 15-21 “For the day of the LORD upon all the nations
is near; As you have done, it shall be done to you; Your reprisal shall
return upon your own head.16 For as you drank on My holy mountain, So
shall all the nations drink continually; Yes, they shall drink, and
swallow, And they shall be as though they had never been. 17 “But on
Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, And there shall be holiness; The
house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.18 The house of Jacob
shall be a fire, And the house of Joseph a flame; But the house of Esau
shall be stubble; They shall kindle them and devour them, And no
survivor shall remain of the house of Esau, ”For the LORD has spoken.19
The South[c] shall possess the mountains of Esau, And the Lowland shall
possess Philistia. They shall possess the fields of Ephraim And the
fields of Samaria. Benjamin shall possess Gilead.20 And the captives of
this host of the children of Israel Shall possess the land of the
Canaanites As far as Zarephath. The captives of Jerusalem who are in
Sepharad Shall possess the cities of the South.[d]21 Then saviors[e]
shall come to Mount ZionTo judge the mountains of Esau, And the kingdom
shall be the LORD’s. (A chilling account here suggesting that all of
the descendants of Esau will be killed. All the nations on earth will
be judged. Deliverance will take place with the outpouring of the holy
spirit. Israel will possess their possessions finally after this
judgment. )
THE PROPHET MICAH’S ACCOUNT OF THE COMING JUDGEMENT
1.
Micah 4: 11-13 “ Now also many nations have gathered against
you, Who say, “Let her be defiled, And let our eye look upon Zion.”12
But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD, Nor do they understand
His counsel; For He will gather them like sheaves to the threshing
floor.13 “Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; For I will make your
horn iron, And I will make your hooves bronze; You shall beat in pieces
many peoples; I will consecrate their gain to the LORD, And their
substance to the Lord of the whole earth.” (The USA under Obama is
against Israel, the European countries are against Israel and are taking
steps to recognizing Palestine as a nation. They are wanting to divide
the promised land that God has given Israel. This will prove to be a
fatal error that will result in catastrophic judgment for America and
the nations. )
THE PROPHET ZEPHANIAH’S ACCOUNT OF THE COMING JUDGEMENT
1.
Zephaniah 2: 4-11 “4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, And
Ashkelon desolate; They shall drive out Ashdod at noonday, And Ekron
shall be uprooted.5 Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, The nation
of the Cherethites! The word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, land
of the Philistines: “I will destroy you; So there shall be no
inhabitant.”6 The seacoast shall be pastures, With shelters[b] for
shepherds and folds for flocks.7 The coast shall be for the remnant of
the house of Judah; They shall feed their flocks there; In the houses of
Ashkelon they shall lie down at evening. For the LORD their God will
intervene for them, And return their captives.8 “I have heard the
reproach of Moab, And the insults of the people of Ammon, With which
they have reproached My people, And made arrogant threats against their
borders.9 Therefore, as I live, ”Says the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel, “Surely Moab shall be like Sodom, And the people of Ammon like
Gomorrah—Overrun with weeds and saltpits, And a perpetual desolation.
The residue of My people shall plunder them, And the remnant of My
people shall possess them.”10 This they shall have for their pride,
Because they have reproached and made arrogant threats Against the
people of the LORD of hosts.11 The LORD will be awesome to them, For He
will reduce to nothing all the gods of the earth; People shall worship
Him, Each one from his place, Indeed all the shores of the nations.
2.
Zephaniah 3: 8-13 “8 “Therefore wait for Me,” says the
LORD, “Until the day I rise up for plunder;[a]My determination is to
gather the nations To My assembly of kingdoms, To pour on them My
indignation, All My fierce anger; All the earth shall be devoured With
the fire of My jealousy9 “For then I will restore to the peoples a pure
language, That they all may call on the name of the LORD, To serve Him
with one accord.10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshipers, The
daughter of My dispersed ones, Shall bring My offering.11 In that day
you shall not be shamed for any of your deeds In which you transgress
against Me; For then I will take away from your midst Those who rejoice
in your pride, And you shall no longer be haughty In My holy mountain.12
I will leave in your midst A meek and humble people ,And they shall
trust in the name of the LORD.13 The remnant of Israel shall do no
unrighteousness And speak no lies, Nor shall a deceitful tongue be found
in their mouth; For they shall feed their flocks and lie down, And no
one shall make them afraid.”
THE PROPHET HAGGAI’S ACCOUNT OF THE COMING JUDGEMENT
1.
Haggai 1: 1-11 “1 In the second year of King Darius, in the
sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came
by Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of
Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying, 2
“Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying: ‘This people says, “The time has
not come, the time that the LORD’s house should be built.”’”3 Then the
word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 “Is it time for
you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple[a] to
lie in ruins?” 5 Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: “Consider
your ways!6 “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do
not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You
clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns
wages to put into a bag with holes.”7 Thus says the LORD of hosts:
“Consider your ways! 8 Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build
the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the
LORD. 9 “You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you
brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the LORD of hosts. “Because
of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own
house. 10 Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the
earth withholds its fruit. 11 For I called for a drought on the land and
the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever
the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of
your hands.” (God is causing Israel to build the temple today. The
Israeli leaders are pushing back the Jews who want temple mount to be
seized, telling them the time has not come. This is happening now. His
temple lies in ruins. But not for much longer.)
