Deborah's fish has a swollen eye

Deborah's fish is not doing well. My now youngest daughter is desperately trying to save her life. I don't know how many times she has run to the pet store for medication, epson salt, antibiotic drops. She red up on the internet how it may be a digestion problem, or she banged her head. We fed her a skinless boiled pea as the veterinarian has mentioned. Sarah is sad her other two sisters are not taking any care of her, nor are they here for her. She is fearing the most is that she will die on Deborah's birthday, on March 14th, and she will be left with no one. not anyone. not even her fish. She is weeping uncontrollably, as a grown woman. Her sorrow is genuine, and deep. I am left helpless, in making her feel better. The fish is likely close to 6-7 years old, and apparently, a swollen, bubble eye is part of aging, and likely death for a fish.
Between running to the graveside, to freshen up Deborah's flowers, wash her stone, and meeting this Japanese students needs, I feel like a wreck myself. My dear Sarah, has not even washed Deborah's blanket since her passing. She wraps herself in her memories. She mourns deeply her sisters loss. |Lord help us. Come soon Lord Jesus.
