Brooks and Streams

I am quiet perplexed. In one way I know that this earth is not our home, and Jesus is coming back. In another way, I know that the younger generation wants to carry on and do all the things that we did. Buy a home, have a family and have a career, not necessarily in that order. So lately, I've been searching to find a home for Deborah's sister and her husband. A home that pretty well everyone wants to move into with them.. There is the groom's mother, me and my husband, Deborah's other sister, and on and on.. So realistically, we need a home with at least four suite's if we wish to be comfortable and together; much like the East Indian Community is doing in this province. The only thing that might be workable is a duplex, with a suite in each.   This of course would be unmanageable for the young couple, because the properties alone are more than what the bank would lend them.. So many complications for young couples. Their jobs are here, but they cannot afford to live here, unless they buy a condo, or leave the area, which few really want to do.

I heard on the news that in Vancouver, a 70 yr old house with the value of 40,000 dollars, has a property value of 1.6 million.  So generally, these people are house rich but bank poor. Everyone is facing the reality that we have to sell, but then where do we go? The world is in upheaval. Money has no value. Our wages are the same since 1970, and our money buys so much less noways.

⁷ For Jehovah thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of water-brooks, of springs, and of deep waters, that gush forth in the valleys and hills;

Please pray that the Lord will accomplish His Word, and whether in this life or the next, we will rest by the brooks, and springs.
