Yet, one more thing to complicate the lives of families. Not only do we have to worry that our children are drinking alcohol underage, but now, we will have to watch that 'medicinal' marijuana, cookies and other products are not accessible in our homes or their friends homes. I think this is another form of money grabbing by the government. My husband has chronic illness, and frankly relief of any sorts would be welcome, but as a family we could never afford to 'dope' up, in the comfort of our home, with the knowledge that we would not be setting good Christian values for our children. It has never been us first or our needs. This is what is happening in Canada at the moment. As I walked towards the bus stop today from my orthopedic specialists on Broadway, I wouldn't help but look into the windows of a massive cannibus shop. It almost looked like an optical shop with lots of glass, and counters. I had to take a second look before I realized what it was.
Truly, we are living in the days like Noah, where the people were 'sorcered' the definition of Sorcery is "pharmaceudical". We are a drugged up nation, and as it becomes more easy for our teenagers with their brains still under development to access these hallucinatory drugs, I can't help but think that mental health problems and suicides will continue to be on the incline. My heart is sad.
