Hello!

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we finalize remaining work on Pacific Street from Hornby to Howe Street as part of the Burrard Street Corridor Project

Construction: What to Expect in February

Some of the finishing touches along Pacific Street to improve street lighting and conditions for people walking and cycling have been delayed due to additional third party utility works. We apologize for this inconvenience and will complete this section in early 2018, once the electrical system upgrades are wrapped up.

Access to residences and businesses will be maintained at all times during construction.

Lighting of the Memorial Braziers

On Tuesday, January 23, the brazier lights at each end of Burrard Bridge were lit once again in honour of our Canadian veterans.

The City extends a warm thank you to the Royal United Services Institute of Vancouver and the Vancouver Heritage Foundation for their extensive work in facilitating the restoration of the brazier lights.
