My son-in-law picked up the gym equipment from a retired friend's house. It required the helping hands of two more friends, to pull it up on a slope from the golfcourse landing to his townhouse. Now comes the challenge of assembling it. It is going to be so convenient on nights when my son-in-law does not want to head out to the gym. While we waited for the truck to arrive, my Japanese student played on the grand-piano at the house. She sure is good, and I encouraged her to continue as she peruses higher education. Then we went shopping, visited the ailing friend at the hospital, and went to White Rock beach.
The beach was teaming with tourists and locals. The sun peaked through the clouds, and fog. I think on the entire mainland White Rock was the only place today, that had a spring day like feel. I was quickly reminded that the student wanted to come home because she wanted to study more. I have to remember that even a single day of outing is enough for her. She came here to study, and she is committed to doing so. She indicated that she only wants to do outings on Saturdays.
Yesterday, I was at the funeral home. I took off the wilted flowers from Deborah's grave, and placed some new lilies and white roses on the grave. I seem to have little time to go there, lately. As I stood over her grave, I visualize where her body is underneath me; am I standing on her feet, shin, or ?? It is stime. It is time for the graves to open. Come Lord Jesus, we are tired and weary. Please hurry Lord.
