Join us at the top of Grouse Mountain!
January 26, 2018
North Vancouver, British Columbia
Talk at the Top is a youth-led, youth-driven summit
on mental health leadership and advocacy for high school students from
the North Shore and throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor. Through shared
dialogue and collaboration, delegates come together to develop
leadership skills, increase their mental health knowledge and learn how
to decrease the stigma that surrounds mental illness in their schools
and communities.
If you're a high school student on the North Shore or in the Sea to Sky Corridor, apply to meet other young leaders, build skills to strengthen your leadership, and bring your voice to a national youth-led conversation.

How did Talk at the Top get started?
Talk at the Top was founded in 2012 to honour the
legacy of Owen Tucker, a North Shore resident diagnosed with bipolar
disorder and OCD. In his short life, Owen was eternally positive and
optimistic but his illness progressed and tragically he died by suicide
at age 21 in 2011. Our promise to Owen – and others like him – is to
create a brighter future for those struggling with their mental health.
