Suicide Squad director David Ayer files for divorce from wife Mireya after fourteen years of marriage and four children
In Hollywood terms, they were together an eternity.
But things have come to an end between David Ayer and his wife Mireya.
The 49-year-old has filed for divorce from his spouse after 14 years together,TMZ reported on Thursday.

The director filed in LA on Wednesday citing irreconcilable differences, listing the date of separation as July 29.
The couple had been married since September 26, 2002.
The Suicide Squad helmer is requesting joint custody of their four children, aged 14, 12, 11 and eight.
The
site reported the split is amicable, as documents show he has already
agreed to pay his ex spousal support; and there was no prenup in place.

Ayer has an impressive resume as both director, writer and producer.
In 2001 he wrote both Training Day and The Fast And The Furious.
He also wrote and directed Jake Gyllenhaal's End Of Watch in 2012, Brad Pitt's Fury in 2014, and Suicide Squad last year.
He
is also set to take the helm of Gotham City Sirens, a Batman spin-off
starring Catwoman and Poison Ivy, with Margot Robbie reprising her role
as Harley Quinn.
Next up for Ayer is
the Netflix fantasy film Bright, which reunites him with Will Smith as
an LAPD officer partnered with an orc cop, played by Joel Edgerton.
