Here we are, the B.C day long weekend. We celebrated my nursing daughter yesterday. She is now officially in her late 20's. We had an intelligent candle lit for her that opens up to a flower blossom, sings happy birthday, and spins around. Yet, another invention of China that is amazing. We thought that her apple/walnut pie would fly off the table. Then the eating even was followed by me reading Isaiah 49, ohhhh so appropriate for a birthday. I hope you can read it. That was followed by a pore cleansing technique that my now youngest daughter shared using baking soda paste and then a black mask.. Well it was hillarious that they sat here with coal black faces waiting for the mask to dry for 45 minutes. Instead of going out to dinner, they ordered in pizza from a very healthy store. That was followed by a family movie. My girl was a little sad that she did not get a dog for her birthday.
So imagine all this with packing up the Japanese student for her flight home, doing all the laundry, watering the new grass seeds in the garden, and surviving the heavy cloud of wildfire polution that surrounds us. No rain in the forecast for another week at least. To triple compound the problem, my husband needs medical dental care. We are looking for a shopping mall dentist. The streets of Vancouver are full of film people. The streets are shut. AND the homosexual pride parade is on today. Finding parking or even driving there would be horrendous. So my husband is suffering greatly from painful root canal. Dentists are not calling back on this holiday weekend in the muck and dust here is Vancouver. Don't come to visit now!! Stay away please
