My Three Girls

Image may contain: 3 people, people smiling, wedding
Here is a photo of my three girls, a rare sight. Some do not like to be photographed. They are now grown women with their own free will. They miss their little sister Deborah.  They are all in different phases of grief. Thankfully, August 18th has passed once again. Their sister of 19 years has been remembered, and deeply mourned. So many mourn the loss of loved ones each day. Tomorrow, one girl has to cross the Patullo bridge, and to her also, as for me, this is always a painful journey. We can only be of so much support. Sometimes, silence is our best friend. Healing may never come. We can't continue to ask the question WHY? Some things we just don't know, and releasing our pain daily, leaving it at the Cross of Christ is all that seems to work. We breathe, move, talk, and walk slowly and painfully through life's assignments. Sometimes we feel cornered and helpless. The pain is crippling, but a faint light prevails. Hoping for a reunification once again, is all that keeps us awake and sober. 4 daughters and now I have 3 ,
4thentherewas3  the title of my blog. So unreal. so surreal.
