Another Beautiful Sunny Day

Here I sit enjoying another beautiful sunny day. I washed the deck after our four visiting racoon friends who steal our cat food if we forget to leave it out after dusk. I washed behind our stove, and did the floors. My Japanese student (another one) is arriving this afternoon. Her room is ready, her time here is short. I always remember though that just what if... the planes stopped working, or the rapture occured. What would happen with the student then? They would be stranded oversees like so many other students throughout the world. We can't just drop them off at the school they attend and say bye bye. I have little energy to do much more, except make supper. I haven't gardened for a while. Thankfully my husband brings in the harvest. More peaches need peeling and processing as well.
Tomorrow is the solar eclipse, likely visible from the west coast, pacific region, here in Canada. We have not yet bought those special glasses, but whoever has them must have made a good deal of money selling them. Everything is pointing to civil war, since previous eclipses also brought about unrest and wars. We must pay close attention to staying close to Jesus. Let's not miss the Ark.
As I look around my living room, I see several bouquet's of flowers I received on the day of Deborah's passing anniversary. I believe this is the last year without her. The dead will be raised, and the believers will be caught up in the air. There will be opportunities for people to come to Christ, fully repented and renewed. The things going on around us makes me nauseously exhausted.
The repetitive daily chores make me nauseous too. I don't like ritual anything. I am a more spontaneous person, who goes wherever the Lord calls me to go. So generally, I don't make plans. I want to be of service where I am needed the most, and I frankly like to live that way. I can't wait to be made whole in every sense. Our dual personalities, the fights between good and evil are a constant reminder of our imperfections. I desire to be whole. I think the word Shalom means that amongst the many many other meaning the word carries. We continued to watch some of the home videos into the next day. In one scene, my children and I included were pretty well the entire cast of a Christmas production; aside from Mary, Joseph and an organ player. We were dressed as Shepherds. Deborah being only 6 years of age played the violin while her older sisters sang. On another occasion , she sang while her other sisters played their violin. Deborah was dressed as a man with a long beard at the end, when she shook the congregations hands as they left the aisle in the little local church. We all shook everyone's hands' as we exited.. Mary did you know? was one of the songs in the play... While we watched yet another tape, Deborah was in the swimming pool at a birthday party, and in another she was all dolled up in Mr. Hornings Surrey Children's Choir for yet another Christmas production. I to this day, can't imagine learning by memory all the songs they performed. These songs were very high quality, beautiful pieces from the Dickens story.. We cried while we watched her sweet face performing in these events. Soon the graves will open and the Blessed Dead will rise. These 40 days after the eclipse will be HUGE!
