An oasis in the midst of the smoke

Image may contain: plant, tree, outdoor and natureMost of the peaches have been taken off from our tree. Daily, zucchini, cucumbers, squash, tomatoes are available. Today, my daughter was surprised that we even have peas. The herbs are also abundant. Today, I spent freezing prepared peaches, ready for Slurpee's, or jam preparation. Apples are ready for harvesting also. We are so blessed, but we had to water all summer. Hopefully, with our water leaked fixed, we will notice a significant reduction in our water costs. Today, I am tired. My husband had a tooth extracted and he is down. The steroids he has been taking for his illness has destroyed his bone density. The pain is crushing. The smoke is still horrific. My window sills are dirty. People can't see the north shore mountains, nor the next high rise besides them. The elderly are greatly at risk for breathing issues.  Today, my hands are cramping. I researched it, and they recommend drinking pickle juice. Really? Sorry, I can't write much..
