We who have received Jesus all have a testimony. It is unusual to find anyone who had not fell into sin in their teenage years. It is rare to find a woman or man of god who did not waver from their childhood faith. I truly admire this brother. Love shines from him, and a heart of flesh is secure in the Love of Jesus.
My testimony is that of growing up a non practicing Catholic home, immigrated to Canada when I was 10 years old from under the iron curtain. I learned the lanaguage and was an honor roll student. Then I messed up, and married a Hungarian man who would abandon me in two years time. I was left all by myself except for a church family in the Mainland of British Columbia with no extended family. Six months prior to him leaving, I was saved through a ladies bible study in a local church upon the prompting of my back neighbour. I was water baptised by full immersion. Felt like a weight has lifted from me after I cried out to God, that if He exists, I want to hear from Him. I started reading the bible daily. I was also baptised in the Holy Spirit by prayer, and dedicated women who prayed for me. I will never look back. That was in 1982. I have served the Lord in different capacities since that. I was single for 5 yrs after my first divorce. I prayed for his salvation with the group of ladies for a long time. As of the last 4 years, I know that he became a father from different ladies, and ran from the law, as an international fugitive. see Alex Varga CBC television. After 5 years I got remarried to the father of my children, and we have been married now for over 30 years only with the Lord's strength. It is so much easier to quit, quit everything.. I choose not to look back to the years I did not have my name written in the Lamb's book of life. I was lost, foolish, and very needy for the world's approval. Not anymore. I am steadfast in the Lord's plan for my life. Won't you join the journey?
