A Day of Celebration

Yesterday was a day of celebration. My second oldest received her Registered Nurses Diploma. She received the golden rope for finishing in the top ten percent with her marks. It wasn't an easy journey, but with an understanding husband and family, she thrived in her environment. Thankfully, she has been already hired in the hospital Deborah hospitalized in. She will be in the Emergency department, helping the most needy. Someone described it to me as her attempt to save other's when we were unable to save Deborah. The very demanding position will put her in the midst of the sickest children in the city. I wore Deborah's blue stone ring, so we can experience her presence even more. She would be very proud of her sister.  Crossing the Bridge towards New West Minister where the event took place was hard. We all dealth with it differently. Some of us looked to the side, some closed their eyes, some looked in the direction of the no sidewalk.Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, people standing and hat Image may contain: 4 people, people smiling, people standing
