My view on this is that no teenager should engage in smoking weed as research has shown that the brain is developing until the age of 25. For this reason psychosis which my daughter developed prior to her taking her life, at age 19,  is one of the outcomes, as well as forms of schizophrenia . The best research has been done in Holland and Australia to support these findings.
 I feel however, that adults who have chronic pain or even children with seizures for instance should be allowed to use it if the conventional pharmaceutical medications do not work. In this case the family/ adult should be able to grow his own so that the product is financially affordable. The government should keep their hands out of any profits as they glean much from the sale of alcohol already.
