Today is world suicide prevention Day.. I just have had a young man at my house who is having active mania, and the belief that the police and Hell's Angels are out to get him. He is getting a passport to flee all these problems. This young man was a friend of Deborah's, and in fact her pall bearer. Please pray for Jeff. His mom believes that it is only unfounded fears that he is experiencing, and what may have triggered it is their desire to sell their home and move far away.  There is a program called the START Program in Surrey, across Surrey Memorial Hospital phone number 1844-782-7811. My soon to be nurse daughter says that when a person has active psychosis or these fears, then it is best to be assessed and evaluated. Perhaps a drastic change in diet may be an indicator as well as sleep pattern changes, or other things. Please be aware that those around you may be genuinely hurting and not well.
I may be taking this young man to the community event at Valley View Funeral Home held tonight.. on this day of remembering all those whom we have lost. I truly don't know how we will be able to have a place to admit him that is actually a beneficial program. Parents feel very tired, and hopeless as well. Pray for those who may be able to support him.
