Dear Friends, we are bracing ourselves for March 14, my daughter's would be birthday.. She would be 21 years young. Oh, Lord, I missed her 20th, now , I'll miss her 21st. Her bench is not yet presented, as there was a delay in the process, and new benches are being ordered through the park. I will have a Japanese student here during this time, so again, it will be hard. Her room will be occupied. We have not sold our home yet, partly because of the memories, as well as other reasons. Getting old, does not want you to be running and moving a decade worth of stuff we collected. Deborah's room is still full of all her things. though she is absent in the body, but present with the Lord. There are support groups for those who are survivors like us, at Valley View funeral home. Please call them if you are the survivor of someone who has left you because of homicide, suicide or tragic accidents. A series of support help is starting in Abbotsford very soon. I will try to post this PDF poster on my site. I have not been feeling well lately, my dire need for hip replacement surgery is getting more profound. My mom has been placed in a care home in Florida, and all this has weighed heavy on me, even from a distance away. Her decision to stay where she was at the time, has tied our hands, and now her condition does not allow her to travel here.
For sure we will be visiting the grave on March 14th. Again, everyone will grieve in their own way. Our memories of her are eternal, and we believe that we will be soon reunited with her.. as well as all of our other loved ones who have gone before us.
