Fort Lauderdale flooding: An airport my daughters and I frequently were in

My Parents moved to fort Lauderdale in 1980, from Ontario. Though we immigrated to Canada in 1970 from Hungary under the iron curtain, Florida is close to our heart. Our four daughters spent time appx every two years visiting grandparents in Fort Lauderdale. Thankfully, close realives have not been affected, this is something to keep an eye on. Was it possibly a way to flush out and arrest the pedophiles in the city? I remember it was mapped out where they were living in plain sight on the internet  decades ago. Remember we are at war and so much is going on behind the scenes.
