Psychosis

Psychosis is very real. A friends grown son is going through it. He is loosing his friends, relationships, and job because his mind is occupied. He is fixed on his health condition, and is regularly at the doctors to find out what is wrong with him. Multiple visits to the emergency ward, CT Scans, x rays, have produced very little. The wait times between diagnostic tests only frustrates the matter. The adult child is now sleeping beside the mom at nights for comfort. He has talked of suicide on several occasions. The parents are exhausted in tryhing to explain that his illness may be part physical but even more so mental related. He may even be anorexic, as he has lost much weight, and hopes to loose more. He cannot sleep at nights. He has no access to a psychiatrist unless he goes into emergency, where they would likely keep him for observation due to a first time display of such behavior. The family even thought of leaving the country for some sort of treatment. As of this moment he is unable to work at his job. He is only 30 years old. I am much reminded of my daughters last months of life before taking her life. She too called of many friend visits, many jobs went by the wayside, memory was difficult. Ohh dear God, I pray this young man recovers. Please Lord, help him heal. The many years of marijuanna use, which he now has stopped using, may have created this depression that he is in. The doctor has prescribed some pain killer that is given for fibermyalgia, supposedly, helps with anxiety and pain. Lord, heal him, or make this Med Bed Available to him, so he can have a full life of health.
