Sexually insatiable teacher drove boy to suicide attempt: Cops
Mother-of-two Jill LaMontagne, 29, has been charged with six counts of gross sexual assault, six counts of sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of unlawful sexual touching.
But the touchy teacher is denying the charges, slamming them as “fanciful and invented.”
The boy was a student at Kennebunk High School while she taught health at the school, police said.
“He said he loved her, he said it happened numerous times, in the classroom, at her house, in her car,” his mother told police.
In Maine, this is a Class-C felony and carries a maximum prison sentence of five years, a $5,000 fine, or both.
The sex romps allegedly occurred between January and May of this year. The student was under 18.
“These allegations arise from a high school rumour which consisted of the fantasies of an emotionally troubled 18-year-old,” her lawyer Scott Gardner said.
The boy’s mother said he was hospitalized after taking ibuprofen, Tylenol, cold medicine and warfarin. He survived the suicide attempt and confessed what had happened to a nurse, who was also a family member.
“He stated it was all true and he was sorry, so sorry for all the bad things he did,” his mother said.
LaMontagne allegedly told him “she hadn’t had a sexual relationship in two years.”
The teacher purportedly performed oral sex on the teen, and then told cops that “other stuff happened.”
She is due back in court in March.
