Photo of our Cats

We are still caring for Tiger the Mother of Moonshine. Often she is invited into my tenants suite in the evenings, so she does not have to fight off large raccoons that come to look for food

This sweet cat is still my favorite.. Little Moonshine is the black one by her leg. Now Moonshine is bigger than her mother. I just love these animals. They are so innocent and sweet. Demand very little except for a hug. I hope every family can adopt a pet. They have given us great comfort, and extended many lives so I hear. Tiger is an indoor and outdoor cat now. She is indoors on cold nights, to escape the unwelcome visit from a neighbor cat, the beast I call him. She is an outdoor cat on warmer days, still in a box with wool blankets. She is a pet that will surely follow me wherever I move or go to.

I have not posted this blog before, but as an update 2 years later, I am still in love with Tiger who remarkably came back to our family after I have given her away to a single mom with a 10 year old child. She was skin and bones. To us she was a sign, as Deborah had passed during the time the cat was away from us. The owner was not pleased with her, walking her on a leash did not work out and she scratched them. At the time I had no idea that cats are territorial, and return to their owners if there is a chance even if it comes to starving themselves.
I still feed her daily on our porch in the back. She has defended her territory against raccoons an is now perched on top of an outdoor house in a  Cosco box. So I truly pray that she will be with us in Paradise soon, along with all her kitties.
