Looking for the Groom

What kind of Bride decides to not look for the groom's coming? Here are some encouraging verses to ponder! Matthew 24:44, "So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him." Matthew 24: 38 "For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark." We are not in the Tribulation period yet, because we are seeing marrying, giving in marriage, and when the Trib comes, no one will be marrying, due to the dire straits! 1 Thess. 5:3, "While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape." Notice it says "they will not escape," referring to unbelievers, like in the days of Noah or Lot. So that is why Jesus said, in Luke 21:36, "Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."
