Burrard Bridge Reopened
A rehabilitated and enhanced Burrard Bridge has reopened to all modes of travel!
Access
for people walking has returned to the east side of the bridge, and
major safety and reliability enhancements have been made at the
intersection of Burrard and Pacific Street, previously the city's second
highest vehicle-to-vehicle collision location.

Careful
planning went into preserving the unique significance of this Vancouver
landmark in cooperation with the city’s heritage community, health
partners, and representatives from the film and television industry.
The
restored heritage lights are detailed reproductions of the originals
and feature programmable LEDs that can display any colour combination
throughout the bridge.
