If you have been following my blog for a while, you will realize that I do not believe that force is a way to help a person who is suicidal, and not always can hospital treatment help the person, infact it may make it worse. The reason I posted this is to realize once again that some of our youth need to be on suicide watch, keeping their doors open and going with them everywhere. We wish we had understood better what Deborah was going through; how desperate she was while she was often alone in her bedroom, calling off appointments and cancelling seeing her friends. Please please ask God for wisdom in all situations. He alone can best meet the needs of all those in pain, and the families who are caring for them.
