Preparing for Thanksgiving

The sun is shining. I have made some roast potatoes, yams, suffing and cranberry sauce for the Thanksgiving dinner we are serving tomorrow. I also peeled the potatoes for the mashed, that we will have with roasted garlic paste. Despite taking my oral antibiotics, my hand still hurts from the cat bite. She got me near the plate that I have near my thumb and wrist. I was suggested to put topical antibiotic on it also. Hopefully this will help.  I know many are watching football today, but I will rest to recover from this morning. The grass needs cutting, but my husband will wait to give it the last cut for the season. I can't believe it is the fall. We had a torrential rainfall yesterday. My wood-chips in the backyard are quickly decomposing.
My husband went to the graveside this morning. I had him clean the tombstone, and sprinkle grass fertilizer on Deborah's plot. We put fresh red roses in her vase. I sent along some apples covered with peanut butter for the birds. The graves must soon open, it is time. The Lord said He will not tarry long. Our hopes will soon be realized. The world has nothing to offer me. I am spent, tired, and waiting for my eternity. We make plans, but God alone, brings things to pass.
