This has been a week of reflection and stagnation. Deborah's cat Moonshine has landed a few teeth marks in my right hand, and yesterday I could not do much with it. Today the swelling is a little better, but still painful. I am always careful with that cat, gentle stroking, slow removal of hand, but despite all the caution I think she did not want the carresses to end, and lashed at my hand. I'm happy my daughter will be taking this cat to her new house. I can then roll up some of my carpets and expose my beautiful hardwood floors. Right now my cherry hardwood is covered with carpets. \I will soon be interviewing people for an extra room, and rent out the newlyweds suite as a one bedroom only. Lots of cleaning to do prior to this move event in the middle of November if we are still here; in the literal sense. I have not stopped looking up, and no one should.
In the meantime, we need to go to a turkey farm in Langley to buy a utility grade turkey for the Thanksgiving weekend coming up. I am tired, but must do the traditional things while we are here. Some of the girls may even have to work , so it will be a juggle for sure.
My garden is winterized more or less. Perhaps there will be one more occasion to cut the grass. Sears is going bankrupt, so we may stop by for some tools/ garage supplies that may be discounted. I heard 10 more stores are closing nation wide.
I have been disappointed that such a centrist has won the heart of the New Democratic Party. He seems to refer to Quebec as a nation, which it is not, it is part of Canada and should be part of Canada, despite the fact that England has preferred it to be treated as a seperate nation. I will definitely not be voting for Jag, or Trudeau, and I pray that the Millenials will not make the same mistake they did with the last election I am going for the father of 5 children Scheer, Andrew all the way. The Conservatives are more credible than all the parties, and they did not burden future generations with debt like Trudeau is doing.
I sleep wrestless for my middle aged stance. There have been large neighbourhood fires lately, and even 10 trucks attended to a fire nearby the other night. I feel tired when I wake up and tired during the day, and tired when I go to bed. I hope you can all make sense of the shooting in Vegas. There are so many things that don't make sense. Please do extensive research, it may be many years before we figure this one out, even as we figured 911 out.. God help us!!!
I love you all, love each other, Love God.
