The BC Bereavement Helpline has an upcoming Suicide Grief Support Group and Traumatic Loss Facilitator Training that we
thought you might be interested in, or interested in sharing with your network. Please see below for more information on both!
Suicide Grief Support: In partnership with
the Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of BC, we are hosting an eight week suicide grief support group in Vancouver on Wednesda
Traumatic Loss Facilitator Training: We
are hosting a 2 day training session for individuals and/or professionals who would like to learn how to facilitate our unique eight-week traumatic grief support group model. The topic of complicated grief following a sudden death (including
suicide and homicide grief) will be explored in depth during
these two days and opportunity will be given for practice and
experiential learning. A copy of our extensive Homicide Grief Support
Group Resource Manual will be provided to each participant
during the training and a certificate will be given upon completion.
This training will take place on Friday September 8, 2017 and Saturday September 9, 2017 from 9:00 AM
to 4:00 PM in downtown Vancouver. The location will be disclosed upon registration.

The cost to attend this training is $250 (lunch
