More Garage Sales
I've been so happy to speak to my relatives in Hungary on Viber (facebook) I could hear them and see them yesterday for the first time in over decades. I have also bought some Euro Calling Cards, but have had no success in using them. I can't believe how much we missed each other. Today was yet another garage sale that I went to. We bought screen doors for 5 dollars, a beautiful laundry basket, comforter covers, winter boots for a fraction of what it would cost at the store. I even bought an originally wrapped box with a golf cap, towel and a metal piece that levels the ground? I gave it to my son-in-law for his birthday gift. Wow!! I even got more planters, and ceramic pots, and a wool carpet for another $10, a tarp that covers a mobile home for $10..
There were many sales listed on line for today. We held on to the two screen doors on the roof top, with our bare hands. We did not have enough spare ropes. I remember once or twice going garage sale-ing with Deborah. We always bought furniture, and we crammed it into our car. She loved doing physical work, and she was very strong. We would buy sofas and chairs, tables etc. We had so much fun, we could not stop laughing at our silly purchases.
