Talk to Someone

Just a reminder that there are several support programs offered at Valley View Funeral Home where my daughter lies. One has just started on Thursday evenings that is a suicide support group. They meet for about 8 Thursdays, and a short interview is required before admission into the very confidential meetings. I found them to be helpful, and have encouraged both my daughters and husband to go, but they have declined. They are still not ready to share.
My husband takes comfort in sleeping in Deborah's room and bed, something I could not do. I take comfort in holding her blue ring with the 4 diamonds at times. We are all different. All I know is that there are many fentanyl related burials recently at this Funeral Home. When Deborah took her life, there was only talks of marijuanna, and Molly, and alcohol. How times have changed , and how more than ever we have become a drug induced society with perscription medications. Please , Please reach out and get help for yourself or loved ones, realizing that 'this too shall pass' any hardship you may be going through... Just take one hour, one day at a time, and talk to someone. Please.
