I was under the impression that 9 other dams in the area contribute to the oroville dam and ALL are at capacity or over capacity, examples being Shatsa & Mariposa & Don Pedro dams. That could be why levels are rising without rain because those other dams are close to overspilling and must slowly lower their levels. The snow melt from the mountains hasn't happened YET but when ALL that snow melts, these 9 dams WILL spill over and Oroville WILL take the brunt, which it WILL NOT be able to handle. I see no hope for Oroville dam to withstand the pressure from the other 9 dams. When it goes it goes. I don't believe for a minute, that a 30 foot wall of water will follow. Do the math, that wall will be at least triple that. All those trucks, helicopters and such, are just for the cameras to give false hope. They should be honest with the public and immediately start RELOCATING families (long term). They should be providing trailers, campers, movers etc and send the people, with their belongings to national parks if necessary, free of charge. They should stop giving false hope by telling the public that they need to be evacuated and that they will return home shortly.
